i purchased a new boat in april. among other things, the boat had a defective fuel tank. neither dealer nor mfg would replace boat. boat was returned to mfg for repair. i have been unable to use the boat for 40 days so far. i have contacted attorney general and will be contacting an attorney shortly. has this happened to anyone else? remedies? rights?

Over the years, I have heard horror stories about warantees unhonored, dealers uncooperative,and new boat owners who don't have a boat for extended periods.<br />The owners who retained a good attorney. And if it were me, I'd leave it up to mine.<br />I think you will get satisfaction in the long run if you follow-thru, and retain one soon.
