I was running my Mariner ELOPT OB229356 90 hp 2 stroke WOT for about 12 minutes when the warning horn sounded. I immediately shut it down to investigate. The oil injection tank is only 2" down from full of XD50, Sharpi marks indicate that oil is being used from the tank, the tell tail was streaming strong, the cylinder head was not hot at all. I anchored in shallow water and switched to fuel lines from my kicker motor with 50-1 XD50 and started again, the warning horn continued to sound steady tone; I shut it down and used my kicker 15hp and electric the rest of the day. When I insert the key in control box and turn to on, not start, the horn sounds.

Is there a reset button some where? I have a test button on top of oil tank. If my oil pump failed in some way could this be effect? Are the only sensors the low tank sensor? or hot engine head sensor? If I run premix as well as top off injection tank, effectively 25-1 am I doing harm? What might I expect to pay for shop diagnosis? If I run premix only and let oil tank go dry will I cause further damage to oil pump?
