Had my new to me wahoo ltd 16.2 out on the water for the first time today and i must say for a 25yr old boat i am impressed. It handles great rides great and i didnt get wet not once. I even intentionally hit some pretty big wakes from other boats to see how it would do and it was smooth as could be. Even managed to hook a small spec trout first time out.
The only complaint is storage but i was able to make some brackets from some teak wood that holds my paddle and poles and such. Now if i can figure out a trolling motor mount that dosent require holes to be drilled. Any ideas?

Re: Wahoo!

Hello, Only a year and a half later....but I just learned of a solution. I am the new owner of an 18.5 Wahoo Offshore. I took it to the marine service shop today, and the owner said he would need to drill holes all the way through the transom for the trolling bracket. Heads on the inside and nuts on the outside so the kids don't get cut on them.
