Re: vro pump

I have a rebuild. works great, good, price, I will have to look for the address and ph number. Same outfit that does some rebuilding of the direct injected engine.

Re: vro pump

This was the first pump from these guys I have seen or used. I am impressed. When I installed the pump, I did not prime oil line, I let the pump pickup the oil, and check the alarm at same time. I only got about 3 beeps from the alarm and the pump was pumping oil. The engine is a 70 hp, which is not know for a good idle. I now have it running so slow that you can almost count the rpms with a chalk mark on the flywheel.

Thanks Seahorse.

Re: vro pump

If you would like to try and rebuild the pump yourself, go to mastertech marine online and he has the rebuild kits available. That is a new diaphram and gaskets. You can get both sides done for oil and fuel for about 45.00.

Re: vro pump

No pressure on the ball sounds like you may have a pinhole in the fuel pump diaphragm, or a tiny leak somewhere in bulb/line assembly.
