Greetings. Shortly after launching our Cruiser the starb engine will not hold the stern to desired setting. I hear the pump running when I attempt to correct the setting but the stern goes from -4 to +7 on its own. <br /><br />I have Volvo 260 engines with the 290 stern drives. From looking at the parts breakdown, I have to wonder if a seal is leaking on one or both hydraulic pumps. <br /><br />If that is the case, can a seal\seal kit solve the problem, or is best to replace the pump\s.<br /><br />If someone has had this problem in the past, I would apprecaiate any input on this subject.<br /><br />Thanking you in advance, Larry.
