Re: volvo penta 4.3L ignition timing

thanks rodbolt and akriverrat

I went to the volvo penta website and read the posting sb 34-2-5. The write up says I need to get a special part (885163-3) and connect to the B+ source. I assume this means the positive terminal of the battery. Is this so? Otherwise it looks straight forward.

any twelve volt positive that won't get switched off while you're working will do.

Thanks a bunch for your replies. When I return from my fishing excursion in Florida I will get this done.
