Volvo outdrive 275

I purchased a used bayliner this summer with AQ 131 A engine and 275 outdrive. The manual I have for it (clymer's) doesn't list the 275 as an option for that engine. Do I need a different manual or can most of the maintanance and repair issues for the 275 be followed in the manual even though they refer to a 270 or 280?<br /><br />I have heard that spraying Armor-All or STP protectant on the drive and exhaust bellows will help preserve the rubber. True? Bad idea? I hope not as I did last fall. Thanks

Clymer B770 refers often to the 275 in chapter 13 (sterndrives) but uses 280/290 pictures. The procedures are the same unless otherwise stated.
