volvo-omc exhaust monifolds

i have 91 4.3 volvo- need new exhaust manifolds- risers are o.k.-is there any diff. between volvo and omc other than price?-will the omc work?-do you see any problems?<br /><br />thanks<br />herm

If it was a joint venture Volvo/OMC (94-99) it probably would work, since then the manifolds were the same, but earlier ones I am not sure of. Check www.dougrussell.com and look at the parts diagrams, and parts #s to see.

thanks lou!<br /><br />Did that.<br /> It seems they are the same just a diff. in gasket between man. and riser.<br />Risers are a diff #. Diff in price of man. is significant. Diff. in price of the gaskets is $11.00 each by itself.<br /><br />herm<br /><br />ps. anybody else have a comment would sure like some add. input please

You might want to see if they were avail in the after market, ie Sierra or Osco. Ask George Van Parys (engines, electrical forum) on www.boatered.com he will know.
