volvo aq 140a flat spot

it has a flat spot when you push the throttle down hard it nearly stalls but when you gently accelerate it runs smooth ive put a kit through both carbys new plugs , points , leads , distributor cap , rotor , condensor ,coil i dont know if the carbys are tuned right can any one please help me solve this problem

Those are probably Webers. They are known for that. All I can tell you is the accelerator pump adjustment isnt right.

they arent webers they are the standard volvo solex carbys and i dont know if that is adjustable

Had the same symtoms in my 1966 Dodge Polara. It turned out to be the accelerator pump.
