Volvo 140 Newby Question

I recently was given a 19' cuddy cabin Glas Ply with a Volvo 140 and a penta 280. It has been sitting for about 10 years and I am told it worked fine when it was trailered. I want to start it up and in reading the manual it says to run water through it when you do. How and where do I run fresh water. I assume from a hose to the engine somewhere but where? This is probably a stupid question but I dont want to burn up motor on my first try. <br />I am going to change the oil, spark plugs, rotor Gas, etc before I turn it over<br /><br />Help<br />Thanks,<br />Jeff

water pump is on front of engine<br />replace impeller before going to far<br />you can hook up a flusher to drive but you must plug hole in front of gear housig
