vip vison problems

89 vip 1750 2.3L omc and she back fires at times i give it full throttle and chugs, and she dies.
ive changed the plugs, wires, coil, timing, points and still does the same. i was told it could be the cam.
can you help me out or have any info that could

Hi. I can't help with your problem, but your thread title is confusing and will not get you the help you need. If a forum mod doesn't move this, I suggest you start a new thread in the OMC section.

Ayuh,.... It's goin' Lean,.... Change the fuel filters, 'n clean the rest of the fuel system,...
