Does anyone know where I can get information on a Meyers alum sailboat. Can I tell the year by the hull #. Where was it made and how many? Any other information on this old boat would be appricated.
Thanks

Here is a picture and more information the registration says it is a 13'
Hull ID 43411

Re: Vintage Meyers Aluminum Sailboat

Hey SailDan,

When I started sailing in the early sixties as a five/six-year-old we had a couple of aluminium dinghies called (I think) "Canada 14s". Googling this name gets me nowhere so I wondered if anyone on here has heard of them. It was a bermuda-rigged, low-medium performance centreboard boat which had inflatable floatation pillows jammed in behind alloy stiffening ribs from the gunwales to the floor. I sailed one in Port Phillip Bay, near Melbourne in southern Australia in the middle of winter and wished I'd worn shoes... the metal hull was FREEZING!

Any clue as to what the Canada 14 actually is? Thanks,

TII
