users of C-Map Max?

Just bought a Northstar 657 with fuel sensor and am just getting ready to start testing it out. Any opinions on what chart to use....ie. a Wide or Bathy chart? I mostly fish the bays behind the barrier islands, but occassionally venture out 15-20 miles into the gulf.
