UMR anyone?

Just curious if any of you guys are in the Upper Miss? I am in NE Iowa, and the bluffs and large area to boat in makes it seem that I have the whole river to myself sometimes, usually on weekdays. Weekends are another story, still very peaceful. There are lots of great islands with sandbars to camp out, all free!<br /> I obviously like it here , any other river rats out there?

nope, i'm by the missouri @ omaha. uncle lives in iowa city though and says i need to try the miss. (i think so i can stop by and visit)i hear ya about haveing the river to yourself. same thing on the missouri, great places to camp at, all for free. can be so lonely there that ya sure do hope the boat works proper. would be a drag to be without power on the river. sounds like i should take the uncle up on that visit from your discription on the miss.
