two questions - temp sender and ignition coil

4.5L 250hp Alpha One mercruiser i/o. Trying to locate the temp sender and the ignition coil. They're not obvious on a quick glance in tight space, and I can't find a schematic to help. Hoping they're accessible. Thx.

Temp sender (item 5) is under the crossover

Thank you. Sorry, away from the boat. Need to take a pic of that serial number next time I'm up there so I always have it. I did find both those schematics earlier, I just don't know where they are in relation to the engine - underneath, L/R side, etc. Thanks for info that coil is on port side. Can you point me toward the crossover? Would sure love an exploded schematic of entire engine like car restoration sites have.

Have not seen exploded views with boats

The crossover is in front of the motor and crosses over both sides of the motor. You never said if its raw water cooled or closed cooled (AF). If closed, then the crossover is under the heat exchanger
