Bought the parts to tune up the engine today and Holy Cr@p! <br /><br />Why are the prices so outrageous??<br /><br />Tac the word Marine on to the front of it and the price jumps 300%!<br /><br />4 spark plug wires- $92<br /><br />1 Distrbutor cap- $60<br /><br />Those were the worse 2 on the price.<br /><br />All together a simple tune up,parts only. $335.00 :eek:

Yikes! I did plugs / cap / rotor and it was $100 or something like that. I was ecstatic to see the leads tested ok. Gas is $4. a gallon now, I have two 75 gallon tanks... hold on sec. I gotta' puke...................... arg!

What in the cat hair??? What engine do you have???? Rolls Royce maybe??? $335... Cheeze Whizzz..<br /><br />$92 for plug wires????<br />$60 for a cap???????

Since I work in injection molding and we have molded distributer caps both over the years. Marine parts are made with stainless and brass for the most part, while automotive use aluminum and steel.
