1. fill the 3 gal container.
2. pour the three gallons into the 5 gal container.
3. fill the 3 gal container
4. pour from the 3 gal into the 5 gal until the 5 gal is full. You've poured out 2 gals leaving 1 gal in the 3 gal container.
5. empty the 5 gal container back into the well.
6. pour the 1 remaining gal from the 3 gal into the 5 gal.
7. fill the 3 gal from the well.

you now have 4 gallons of water. 1 in the 5 gal container and 3 in the 3 gal container. ;)

Or, you can pour the 3 gallon into the 5 gallon and then add water to the 3 gallon one till it is 1/3rd full and you would have 4 gallon. And then pour it into the 5 gallon, and that way you just have to carry one container home that has something in it. :D ;)

Yall started it...

Man looking at a dead person in a coffin. He says " Brother and sisters I have none but this mans father is my father son". Who is in the coffin?

Of course some of you might like this also??

One dark night in the middle of the day two dead boys got up to play. Back to back they faced each other, drew there swords and shot each other. The death policeman heard the noise and came to get the two bad boys. If you dont believe this lie is true? Ask the blind man he saw it too! :)

You guys are too bored. Being as I have an insight to these things (IE used a lot of them and others I have had used on me due to my profession) I am gonna stay out of it. I still want to see some answers on this one though I am sure some of you already know it but I am dying to see how others of you think
Man looking at a dead person in a coffin. He says " Brother and sisters I have none but this mans father is my father son". Who is in the coffin?
