trolling motors

I just purchased the alumacraft lunker with a 40 forty four stroke. I need to add a trolling motor but have no idea as to which brand. Any thoughts or recommendationS?

Howdy, Scott.<br /><br />With a 4 stroke on the transom, what do you need a troller for? You didn't mention the brand, but most of them will idle all day without loading up.<br /><br />If you are looking for a positioning motor, both Minn-Kota and MotorGuide make a variety of models. Pick out the features you want.<br /><br />My personal preference is Minn Kota.<br /><br />Good luck.
