Lets see how old some of ya are or how smart ya are? :) <br /><br />What was the distance "world record" boat jummping from a ramp? How far was the jump? What kind of boat was it? What kind of engine was it and why did they do it?

Don't know all the details but I think it was for a James Bond Movie,Live and let die, and I'll guess the jump at 130ft.That would be early 60's ,say around 1963.No idea what type of engine or who drove it. :confused:

One part was right. Live and Let die. 1973. 110 feet in a Glastron. They totaled 17 boats in practice of over 100 jumps. And as you can see its a Rude. :) <br /><br />
