Trimming a Fishmaster

I've got a 20' Fishmaster with a 115 hp Mercury 4-stroke engine. The boat runs very bow-high at low speed, and takes a while to get on plane. Has anyone used Bennett Trim Tabs with any success? Also, do those fins you attach to the engine (Dolphin, etc.) work. I've heard rumors that they put undue stress on the motor.
