Trim stuck up.

Hi guys. Mercy. 5.0. Alpha I. Trim is stuck in the up position. Found some posts that said to lube, grease and stand on it to get it to go down. Did these things and got it down. Put it up again and still same thing happening. I have tried to bleed the lines to see if there was air in lines. Only oil. (not frothy) up works fine. Any ideas?

When you raise it up all the way, get in the habit of bumping back down a hair. It relieves the pressure in the system.

I am in this habit. Problem is me standing on unit (I'm 200 lbs plus) and my son hitting switch. Afraid something is gonna bend. It takes every bit of the 200 to get unit to lower.

When the drive is down, check the fluid. Try adding some (4oz), then run it down.

Disconnect the rams and see if the outdrive lifts up and down by hand easily. Maybe there is some corrosion, etc going on.

Thanks guys. I will do both these things. Hopefully I will get this figured out soon.
