trim and tilt motor volvo aq115, how to tell stern drive?

hey all i was wondering what other trim tilt motors work with the volvo aq115, and i was also wondering how i can tell which stern drive i have. i saw a few OMC motors on ebay and they look like they will fit i was just wondeirng if they would thanx all.

It's probably a 270 or 280 but you can confirm that by looking here:<br /><br /> http://www.volvo.com/volvopenta/na/en-us/marineengines/outofproductionengines/gasengine/sterndrive/ <br />Scroll down about 2/3rds and you will find the AQ115.<br /><br />As for trim, everybody who owns one of these is looking for a way to fit trim (including me!). The 270T or 280T have trim as standard but they are rare to find, maybe search around boneyards?<br /><br />Aldo

hum, says its a 100b, but mine doesnt look like that one, mine looks more like the 270 i think, but my boat title says 1973. so i assume its a the 115a with a 270?

WHOA! my engine looks like the 130D! not the 115! and i just ordered the gasket set for the 115. uhg

heh, Aq130D with the 270C stern drive.
