Re: travel time/ speed zone

The distance from planet Jupiter and Earth will vary greatly....at it's closest it's 365 million miles.

Go to this page : http://www.fourmilab.ch/cgi-bin/uncgi/Solar/
and it will give you todays distance to Jupiter and any other planet....and if you select the option to enter some other time (as in your proposed fishing day) it will give you the distance on that date.

That link is confusing to some as it gives the distance in A.U. (astronomical units ...the mean distance from Earth to Sun).
Need a correction factor?

Are there any fuel stops available on that route? Betcha BOAT US towing doesn't cover you even if you have the "unlimited" towing coverage.

151 miles. I assume by road.
http://www.geobytes.com/CityDistanceTool.htm
Or this one. It's a marine map of your area but i'm not sure it has what you're after. You can move around and change the zoom and enter other destinations as well.
http://mapserver.maptech.com/homepa...CFID=4331901&CFTOKEN=73955684&&latlontype=DMS
could also try google earth or NASA worldwind.
If you are planning on going to the other jupiter i'd recommend a rocket and not a boat ;)

It's manatee season down here so there are a lot of idle and no wake zones in the intracoastal. You'd probably have a much faster trip oceanside. I wouldn't use the Jupiter Inlet, though, unless you are familiar with it. Use the St Lucie or Lake Worth inlets.

Jupiter is 588 million km from earth. i'd guess you'd need about 60,000 fuel stops in your boat. i'd probably allow 200 years for the journey. Hope this helps. :)
