I Seacast once before to replace a transom and had a good experience. I have a small boat that from what I can tell, the plywood in the transom only barely extends past the splash well and goes to the bottom of the hull. The owner of Seacast is adamant it has "wings" that extend to top of the hull, but I can pull out chunks of foam from either side and see where the wood stops. Since I only need 5 gallons to fill the void left by the wood, I pretty much need her permission to buy it. Does anybody else see what she sees, that makes here think the transom it going to fail if I just put here product where the factory wood went? The first photo shows the area she want me cut out, so she can see there is no wings. I dont want to have to fix more, just to prove it though.
