I have a Humminbird 4-ID transducer that has been epoxied to the inside floor of my boat. Cant get a signal of any kind. What will be the best way to remove it without damage to the boat? The boat is fiberglass.

Re: Transducer removal

Assuming you can get at the thing, try heating the transducer/hull joint with a hair dryer, then chipping at it w/ a putty knife.

Of course the question is whether you want to save the transducer, or get it out of the way for another one....?
