Hello all,

I have a trailer used to haul my 21' sailboat. The bunk supports are rusted out and need to be replaced. They are welded on a "L"-angle support beam. I am thinking of cutting them off and replacing them. Would something like this (Galvanized Swivel Top Bunk Bracket Kit) work for a replacement solution or is there another product I should look at?

The "L"-shaped cross-member is throwing me in terms of what can be attached to it.

Any input would be appreciated!

Because of your "L" shaped cross member, I think you will have a hard time getting that new bracket to hold well. It is designed for more square or rectangle crossmembers.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,...... Those brackets could work, but not mounted like in their pictures,.....
You'd need to drill holes in yer L bar, 'n use short bolts, rather than the supplied U-bolts,....
