I am moving from South Carolina to California, I have a 19' CC. Towing with a 94 Chevy s-10 Blazer V6. Also have a 2000 Ford Ranger following as a backup.

My question is, on the route i take i want the least amount major elevation changes. I figured i should be good all the way to New Mexico. But from there should I take I-10 or I-40 to LA?

I'm driving to Dallas Tx, then i'm either going to jump up to I-40 or take 20 to I-10.

Any one have experience on which is easier to drive, has less elevation changes?

thanks
Josh

Agree with the Old one.

I have made the DFW-LA-DFW trip a number of times. I-40 is more scenic, but more steep grades.

Use I-20 and I-10 from DFW.

Good luck. :)
