On topic...I've always trailered with my engines in N. Doesn't matter if outboard or I/O.

Off topic...power loading...I've (ok admiral as she was bringing the boat in for end of vacation) only done it on very, very rare occasions. Once you get to know your boat AND trailer, you can be out of the way in under 2 minutes. That includes winching time.

Every one of my trailers has been bunk. Nothing fancy as I don't go for glide sticks on top of the carpet. Just simply back in so 3/4 of the large bunk is submerged and boat goes on straight every single time.

Two minutes of winching with good shoulders and no arthritus. Even then, I have never saw anyone have there boat cranked up in two minutes unless a small rowboat.

When you only have to winch it a foot, its incredibly doable. So yes, a couple minutes max.

Like I said, know your boat and trailer and you won't be the hold up.

All true if your ramp is deep enough....in order to float my boat onto the trailer, my Jeep would be in the water axle deep and that is with an extension on the tongue ! Only one ramp in my area is deep and that one is so busy you can wait an easy hour just to launch...

Why I do the Geezer way. Floating dock at my winter storage marina. No pulled muscles. (y)(y)(y)(y)(y)
Yep...back in my youth days, I had a boat lift/ hoist for my 15' Lyman. Never worried about low or high water nor the boat ramp. Ahhh.the good ole days..
