I have a 1999 25hp johnson on a pontoon 1/2 open or faster on smoke. Slow down it will smoke. Appears worse at night or when its damp. Put on two new coils and new spark plug wires helped some. Using NKG BR7HS plugs. Will using a hotter plug help? Is it possible to have a leak in the exhaust so that the smoke don't go thur the prop but into the air ? Thanks for any help.

I do not know for that model but I am sure your auto parts store can cross reference the equivalent champion or your local marine outboard store will tell you on the phone.
