Re: to JB

Ahoy, Master Chief! Yes, had a wonderful time, as usual. Trailered Sunshine III and she performed very well. It is about 1550 miles from home to Angle Outpost, where we stay on the Northwest Angle.

Dave and Jessica Fandrich operate the Outpost. You can talk to them at 1-800-441-5014 or E them at www.fishandgame.com/angleoutpost.

I don't know your experience or priorities with northwoods fishing, but recommend using a guide for several days before trying that lake on your own. We still go out with Scott Edman several times a year, even though we bring our own boat and know the lake pretty well from 7 years of fishing it. Dave Pearson and Doug Johnson operate in that area and are famous Muskie guides. Scott is low profile, but we think he is the best guide on the lake for muskie, walleye and smallies. You can find Scott and brother Allen at www.muskiemuskie.com or 218-223-4391. They operate out of the Angle Outpost so Dave and Jessie can book for you.

It is a loooong haul, Chief, but I believe that LOTW is the best fresh water fishin' hole on the planet and well worth the trip.

Be sure to tell them that JB sent you.

Red sky at night.
JB
