Hey guys and guyesses, I finally got out fishing and although the big ones eluded us we had a ball with good snapper. Note the wee octupus that gave us a bit of a surprise. Smoked fish for dinner tomorrow night. Fried snapper tonight.<br />I'm really pleased as this is my first trip since June in my own boat and all went well. Maintanence is a wonderful thing isn't it? I'm so glad I keep up a strict routine with it!<br />We watched the Americas Cup races whilst we fished. They're impressive boats when they're going. The masts are so tall you can see them all over the Waitemata Harbour.<br />Ross<br />

To be honest Scoop I didn't. I wouldn't know what to do with it!<br />A chinese friend used to clean them and slice them up for tucker but I havn't learn't that one yet. I can't say that I'm much bothered by it either!<br />Never eaten them.<br />Ross
