i've got a 4.3L v-6, not sure the year but it is a thunderbolt iv
when i first started it up this year it was acting up. i would put it in gear and try to accelerate slowly and it would pop stuff out the carb. once i got a little further with the throttle it acted ok. I took the cap off the distributor and found the connection on the cap where the rotor touches were white and looked like it was burnt. i changed the cap and now it seems to be doing the same thing after a couple of months so i took the cap off again and it looked that way again, any ideas?
