One of the thumb operated trim switches on my twin controls (OMC?)for 2 Johnson 115's is not working for the up position on the port motor. I have troubleshooted the problem to the switch that is not working. The 2 switches (actually 4, 2 up-2 down)are encapsulated in resin type material.
Does anybody know if these switches or the cluster is available for replacement? I take it that they are the same year as the motors (2000).

Re: Throttle mounted trim switches

I looked at a '79 parts list and it shows it to be a seperate part. The p/n is 582078 and it's called a Switch And Lead Assembly. Again, that's the nr. for a '79. Don' know if your's is the same or not.

c/6
Hooty
