For all ya'll Texans.. the white bass run is in full swing! Limited out this weekend ,both days, despite the rain and cool temps. They are a gas to catch and the filets are tasty. Give it a whirl...

Good fishn dmessy.<br />Our fishing crew was out on the ice this weekend<br />A beautiful day up in the mountians on Saturday<br />caught some Lake trout for the smoker. I watched <br />what I thought was probably a new winter sport,<br />a couple of guys on snow boards using kites to<br />pull them at some pretty good speeds down the lake<br />looked really cool. Sunday we went to the <br />pike lake and caught some nice fish, one broke 20<br />lbs. Nasty weather coming home a white out snow<br />storm added about extra hour to the drive. Back <br />to work now, hopefully it will start to warm up <br />getting tired of winter.

Cann't post pics Mellow as they are cut up and in the freezer ready for a fish fry. Going after more soon. Will try and remember the digicam so I can post. Yeah, a 1-3# white bass on ultralights make you feel like you've hooked a tarpon! Hope the weather clears up so you all can git bit...been a long winter for some from what I've read on this board.
