Hi All,

I'm a first time poster here. I am on the fence of a purchase of a Tahoe 215 Xi. I really like the 215 model layout as it looks to really lend itself to be a boat that can fish early morning and wakeboard in the afternoon.

I have not found a place near me that does test drives so I would like to ask for any reviews or inputs on how well the boat is set up for wakeboarding and what kind of wake the boat throws behind it.

What are your thoughts? Good experiences or bad?

Did you have to make any improvements to get a decent wake for jumping?

trying to decide if this all in one boat really does it all well.

Thank you in advance and really appreciate your inputs

Dirk

Hey guys,

A little input from anyone who uses their 215 for wakeboarding would be much appreciated! Driving over to a store on Sunday and would love to have some input from the trusted members here before making a decision

Please! And thank you!

Should be plenty of wake to have fun. In a runabout adjusting speed and trim can really help tune your wake. If you are wakeboarding at a pro like speed (24 ish) then you might need to add some weight as most bowriders are going to be on plane at that point. With a Tahoe you need to be careful how that weight is placed, the new one that I looked at a few years ago had floors in the back that flexed a bit.

It will do fine. I have a 216. Put a 17 pitch stainless Vengeance prop on it and the wake will be decent. We wake board at 20-22 MPH.

It is not like a Wakesetter, Malibu, Mastercraft, etc. but for an all around use/fun boat it is great.
