I need some advice:

I have a 2001 Crownline 238 deckboat and I wanted to add a swim platform. My dealer wants to charge $2300 for the platform and to install. I know others, e.g. Rinkers and Larsons charge approxmately $1400 for the platforms. Do I have any choice but to spend the $2300 or is there options?

Ron

Re: Swim Platforms

You could do it yourself and save a lot of money. All of the marine supply oufits sell platforms and they come with detailed instructions. They're not too hard to install and may even be better, since you're doing it on your own boat.
