Swap 280 transom plate with DPC transom plate

Hello, do I have to modify the transom if I swap out a 280 transom plate with a DPC transom plate? I know the plates are different size. Just not sure about the transom hole. I want to put my DPC system into a 1978 Bayliner Victoria which has the 280.

It has to be cut out larger. You can see here how much larger the cutout is from your 280 cutout

You need to order a paper cutout template from your local Volvo dealer part number 7733849. They list for $3.00 and it makes it a lot easier to do the job.
