New project. Has run b4 sitting up for years, fired off with ether then Started basic cleanup/prep for fresh fuel, etc. Noticed #3 plug dead. All 2 Coils r working. Got 3 new NGK OEM. Verified spark. Then, no spark. Early in, ignition switch wasnt making contact. I suspect old grease on contacts but eventually started working & spinning engine. Now no spark. I hav new switch on order. Suspect bad switch contact. Im on fam fishing trip deadline so need to make progress & verify running asap. How can i bypass the igniton switch (hotwire) to continue troubleshooting b4 the new switch arrives. Cant find anything online. Is there anything else simple i should check? Kill switch was working. Neutral switch was working. Doubt its the cdi or coils since has been firing when spinning while tinkering. Its Possible but hoping not likely? Seems 2 b simple issue like switch, i hope. Just odd 2 suddenly stop firing while tinkering. Hence, the switch theory. Many thanks for your time. Any articles on testing cdi & magneto, etc would b greatly appreciated.

not sure about Suzuki's, but with Yamahas I would measure the input voltages to the CDI and output voltages of CDI to make sure what does and what does not meet specs in your service manual.
that should narrow down where to be looking

if you have good input but no outputs, I would think the kill switch or wiring is grounding stopping the voltage out of the CDI
