Suzuki DT65 age Please ??

Hi

Suzuki DT65 oil injection, needs to know its age please. Have tried the usual sites but I cannot work it out from the chart im affraid.

Details are as follows

Serial Number is 06502 501 027

Anyone care to age and then advise how to actually identify them would be very helpful. I think you use the model number letter to age them but not sure how you get that letter as there is none on the plate other than DT65

The 1st digit in the second part of the serial # (5) gives the year

Can I just ask though, you say use the first number from that second block but how does that make it 85 and not 75 or 95 for example ?
