Have a 2006 DF140 that is not running on the #3 cylinder. Has perfect compression and spark on all 4. Battery terminals are clean. Swapped injectors between different cylinders and the problem does NOT follow. Have proper resistance on the wires between #3 injector plug and the computer. This is a freshwater motor and has no corrosion anywhere.

I would assume that the ECM is bad, however after doing some internet research I see others have had the exact same issue as me, and replacing the ECM did not solve it. I have not found any definitive solutions to this 4-3 code.

Any advice on what else I can check or where to go from here? Thanks

4-3 is a fuel injector failure.

Since you swapped the injector with no resolution, the next place at the feedback that triggers the firing of the injector.

Typically some kind of crank and or cam position sensor for this feedback

This makes sense, that a sensor tells it when to fire injectors. Hmmm wish i had a factory manual for this engine.
