To replace water pump impeller I can't get the lower gear housing off this engine which had been stored for several years. Shift rod disconnected and all seven retaining bolts removed and gearbox won't budge. Please give me suggestions. I'm desparate! Is there an alternative other than scrapping if the gear housing can't be removed? Thanks for any help.<br /><br />------------------<br /><br />david
