OK guys and guyesses, who stole our New Zealand summer eh?<br />It's colder in the water than it should be, theres rain falling when it shouldn't be, snow falling in areas it shouldn't be, wind, wind, wind...........<br />Some bugger had better give summer back cause it's getting serious here when I'm sitting on my boat waiting to go out and it's too rough!<br />According to Mr weatherman on TV we'll get a summer in Feburary, 3-4 months late, and I'll be back at work by then.<br />Americas Cup boats will have stirred up all the water by then anyhow. I'll just have to wait and look at those bueat cigars some more. By the way my bottle of whiskey keeps getting emptied. I reckon I got a ghost in this house. It loves fishermen and drinks their wiskey at night when they're not looking. I even poured it a big glass of the stuff and waited a long time for it to appear but alas, it didn't so I think I drank it's share.....<br />Anyhow, good fishing to all my friends wherever you are on this planet. Who was it that let the northern weather in? Down to 46 and falling. We had rain all weekend with cooler temps and now it might actually freeze tonight. Makes not taking off when we had a nice day like Friday hard and if the week turns out like the reports say towards the end of the week I may have to take a sick day just to drive to Fla for the weekend and fish a little.

that's a real bummer.. summers only once a year.. and short a that.. i can handle the cold ,, but the wind is another story..<br /><br />i sure can relate to the little 'house ghost'... 'cept he sneeks my money away.. little bugger..!! i'll catch 'em some day..

It was warm here for a little while. I have a lilac with buds on it. Now it is getting colder. 7:00 PM yesterday was 18 degress F. Next couple couple weeks will only get colder. <br /><br />Sorry for your stolen summer Ross. The weathjer all over the world is going haywire. Even the swamps by use are dry. Where they have not been before. the rain seems to miss just our little area.

I think I'll go fishing.<br /><br />I stole it, Ross, and I am not giving it back.<br /><br />I consider it my compensation for endless weeks of no rain and 90+ temps.<br /><br />Watch the Cup races and relax.<br /><br />When you do get it back the fishing will be the best of your life.
