Hi everyone, after having some great advice with my new project 16ft speed boat I'm going ahead with Ive got to the stage of cutting out the old stringers and replacing them.

I'm wondering if anyone can advise me on how to go about doing this and how I attach the new stringers in and what sort of fibreglass I need to glass them over (quantities etc). I'm replacing the centre 3 stringers picture below.

Also can anyone help me with the best way of doing it. One at a time or cut all of them out and then replace them all at once?

Any help is appreciated thanks!!

I'm currently doing the same thing and if you go to the completed projects section there are many good write ups on what to use and how to go about it. One that I have been referring to a lot is the 1995 Sea Ray 220 Signature Deck and Stringer Restoration completed by friscoboater. He has many of pictures and lots of videos of the whole progress plus he has a post where he explains in depth fiberglass and all of the other mixers needed.
