Does any one know where I can get an adjustable steering arm link for a 90hp Nissan 2001 model? I need to straighten my steering wheel on my boat and they're no other adjustments I can use.

Re: steering arm link

Most marinas sell an adjustable ball bracket that can adjust the steering.
But if you just want to straighten the wheel out, you can remove the wheel from the helm, and replace it wherever it is comfortable to you,and it'll be a bunch cheaper. You might need a steering wheel puller, but mine allways came right out when I used a rubber mallet on the loosened nut.
Be carefull if you opt for the latter,as you dont wanna "mushroom" the threads.Just run the nut out to the end of the threads and give it a good whack or 2 or 3.
Also, there is a key in the helm shaft,so don't forget to re-install the key if it falls-outta the shaft way.

------------------
Time to change my tagline

Thanks 12footer,
But I did remove the steering wheel and there is only three positions for the key and none of them are straight. I guess I will have to drive with a crooked steering wheel huh.

Take the cable out of the stering head, reposition the wheel ad re install the cable.
It involves some trial and error but it's free.

...have fun...corm
