Starcraft Moter Size?

I Own A 1965 Model 651 Allum. 15ft 10inch. Cuddy Starcraft. I Got This Info Off Of The Title. There Is No Capacity Tag On The Boat That I Have Found. Currently It Has A 40 Horse On It But It Does Not Have Enough Go To Pull Up My Young Skiers. I Have A Chance To Buy A 65hp Merc For It. Question Too Much Horses Or To Much Weight On My Transom Or Intire Boat?

Try locating ur boat in a 'used boats for sale' and either see what they have for motors or contact a seller and ask if he has a tag on his boat with the info. u need... Just a thought...

I have a 1966 Starcraft 15' Jetstar, closed bow aluminum runabout, and it's rated for 50, so I'd think yours would be good with a 65 or 75.

Don't do it without finding out for sure it will accept the higher hp.

i have a 68 starcraft 16ft jupiter v it has a 650 merc on it but i can go to 80 so i would say your safe going to a 80 hp

I have a '66 jupiter and it's rated to 85 and I have an 85 on it. A bit stern heavy though.

yep i shot em an email about my 78 supersport and they sent me all the brochures with all the 78 model specs in pdf format the next day
