I was intrested in the switch on the cable ecentric that grounds the coil. I found it mafuntioning and wanted to know its purpose.81 coalt 260 hp mercruiser
Thank you Hondon for the info.Any more info on how to adjust the shift interrupter switch or how it is activated on cam would also be helpful. I checked it with an ohm meter and found it grounding my coil when I moved slightly, not even 1/4 of the way out of the cam groove.Then after cycling it several times it started to work normal.
