I think i found my stuttering /bogging down problem...
As trying to figure out my symptoms i checked the spark plug boot and i saw its does not make a solid contact and my rps change when u twist the boot. Even when i applied dielectric grease.

Thus my question can i splice the coil wire solder and properly insulate? Or will i cause more harm then good?

Thanks

Re: Splice ignition wire

Usually not a good idea.
You'd have to make sure it's the same size and make of lead.
But you might try replacing the end?
I found that grease just makes the boot fall off.
Now if it was just an arching problem? You can use heat shrink and then liquid electric tape.
What's it from? The 50 needs a longer lead. I might have a coil?

well that's what I want to do replace the ends but figured it would be easier to splice.

the only boot repair I could find is for atv or lawn moters would that work?

its for a 125 force

Yea that would work.
Any boot will fit.
Auto Zone or any parts place.
