Does anyone know where I can get the plastic piece that picks up the water that attaches on the end of the black rubber hose that goes to the speedometer? When I bought my boat it was missing. I also would like to replace the two small individual windsheids that go on a 88 Bayliner Capri. Any suggestions? Bob

------------------
14'Bayliner Capri 50HP Force

Hi, Bob. Welcome to the board. The device you want is called a pitot tube (pronounced peetow). Cabela's sells a universal pitot tube for about 8 bux. Can't help you on the windshields.

Good luck.
JB

Bob:

You can get pilot tube at any marine store, WalMart, etc..

As for windshield... I addressed this issue yesterday... Call Bayliner parts @ HQ. Have them pull files on your model & what windshield manufactures they used for the model you have, contact the manufacturer & they can provide you with parts, frames, etc... best thing is to have pictures of parts also should they need something to identify it with as some models used diffrent manufacturers & different "shields". Be prepared to wait a month or two until they can put it into production but always provides the best results... reccomend to wait until off season if you have to tear down!!!

Good Luck

fone_man
