I am getting conflicting spark plug numbers from my local boat dealers . I have a 1982 150 H.P. Evinrude the owners manual calls for Champion UL77V . The dealers tell me it is a QL16V . The 77V that I have in there now are center fire plugs . All the pictures I have seen show them as standard electrode plugs . The Ql16V are center fire but are not referenced to my motor . I have a problem fouling these plugs as alot of my running is at no wake lakes .

Surface gap plugs are fine for higher speed running, but trolling and low speeds tend to foul them out. Both UL77V or L16V Surface Gap plugs are recommended for your motor...
