Spark Plug Recommendation Question

With my Yamaha 90 hp I troll primarily when fishing. The spark plugs tend to get somewhat oily/wet looking and also some minor carbon buildup. The owner's manual recommends NGK B8HS-10. Would it be preferable for me to use a hotter spark plug (B7HS-10) based upon the slow trolling that I do or would it not be advisable? Thanks in advance for the comments.

Hi Ed, My motor is different to yours,but the issue was identical,i managed to solve the carbon build up by adding to my fuel a product in a can called "Seafoam", it worked for me
